A Faster Purge

Purging blow molding equipment with a Slide purging compound reduces purging time from hours to minutes while reducing waste.

Mechanical & Chemical Purging

Our general-purpose NPT Purging Compound is ideal for blow molders because it combines chemical and mechanical purging: mechanical for a scrubbing/sweeping action and chemical to break down polymers so they’re more easily flushed out.

NPT reaches all the crevices inside the screw and barrel that require purging, removing all resins and residue dyes from the machinery in less time than other purging compounds.

Food-Grade

Two of our purging compounds are formulated with GRAS (generally recognized as safe) rated ingredients:

• KLENZ Purging Compound: GRAS rated active ingredients safe for food packaging applications and excellent for use through hot runner systems
• Purge-Atory: also GRAS rated and recommended for use with gas emitting resins
